Amanda Serrano vs Heather Hardy II in Play for the Paul/Diaz card August 5th

LDUBB Boxing has learned that 7 division World Champion Amanda 'The Real Deal' Serrano (44-2-1 30KOs) will defend her Featherweight Undisputed Crown vs Heather 'The Heat' Hardy (24-2 4KOs) in a rematch from their September 2019 Featherweight title contest. Serrano defeated Hardy by a wide unanimous decision. Hardy failed a post fight drug test for the banned substance Lasix which led to a 6 month suspension and a 10k fine.

Serrano 34, is coming off an undisclosed injury after defeating Erick Cruz in February for the Featherweight Undisputed Crown. The injury led to the postponement of the rematch with Katie Taylor set for May 20. Taylor will now face Chantelle Cameron on May 20 for Cameron's Super Lightweight Undisputed Crown.

Hardy 41, is coming off back wins after suffering back losses to Serrano and Jessica Camara. Hardy mentioned on her Twitter account that Serrano promised her another shot.

"I hope your injury is healing @Serranosisters ! Love seeing your travel and enjoy your success….

I know you promised me a shot at 126".

Serrano vs Hardy rematch will be the co-main event for the Jake Paul vs Nate Diaz DAZN PPV card on August 5th.
