Press Release:
The gold rush continues in 2025 for Eye of the Tiger and its athletes. To kick off the year with strength, Olympian and NABF super lightweight champion Arthur ‘The Wolf’ Biyarslanov will face the biggest test of his career against French contender Mohamed ‘The Problem’ Mimoune on February 6 at the Cabaret of the Montreal Casino. The event will also be broadcast – starting at 6:30 on ESPN+.
Arthur Biyarslanov (17-0, 14 KOs) had a resounding debut with EOTTM in 2024. After his first victory in March, the Olympian from the Rio Games captured the NABF super lightweight title in June. He successfully defended his title for the first and second time in September and October, breaking into the top 20 of the WBC world rankings.
For Mohamed Mimoune (24-6, 5 KOs), this will be a golden opportunity to return to the top. A former IBO world champion, he has also won the French and European championships. In fact, 5 of his 24 victories have come against undefeated boxers, including several on the road, whether in the UK, Spain, or the United States. Always competitive, he has never been stopped, even against elite boxers such as former world champion Viktor Postol or former EOTTM protégé Batyr Jukembayev. In short, a tough challenge that Biyarslanov must pass to move forward towards the top.
In every sense of the term, an imposing duel will take place in the co main event. In a fight presented in partnership with Top Rank, two-time Olympic super heavyweight champion Bakhodir Jalolov (14-0, 14 KOs) will step into the ring for the first time since his triumph at the Paris Olympics. His opponent will be French champion David Spilmont (16-8-1, 11 KOs).
Another high-profile fight will take place on the card. WBA international light heavyweight champion Albert Ramirez (19-0, 16 KOs) will return to Quebec against an opponent to be announced soon. Recall that last August, the EOTTM protégé demolished former world title contender Adam Deines in Venezuela. Following this triumph, Ramirez finds himself on the brink of a world title fight, ranked #4 by the IBF, #3 by the WBC, and #2 by the WBA and WBO.
EOTTM's upcoming stars will also be in action on February 6, as Avery Martin Duval (12-0-1, 7 KOs), Wilkens Mathieu (12-0, 8 KOs), and Moreno Fendero (8-0, 6 KOs) will participate in scheduled 8-round bouts.
