Claressa 'GWOAT' Shields (13-0 2KOs) has a new opponent for her hometown fight in Detroit, Michigan Zon June 3rd. Hanna Gabriels is out because of an adverse finding with her VADA test.

Maricela 'La Diva'Cornejo (16-5 6KOs) will step in on 9 days notice to challenge Shields for her Undisputed Crown. Cornejo has a new training team with head trainer Ismael Salas and S&C Coach Larry Wade.

Shields 27, is coming off a unanimous decision victory over her rival Savannah Marshall in on October 2022 . Cornejo 36, is on a the fight winning streak and is the WBC #1 Contender.
