Undisputed Super Middleweight Champion Franchon Crews-Dezurn (8-1 2KOs) will defend her crown vs Savannah Marshall (12-1 10KOs) on July 1st. This fight has been elevated to the main event because Liam Smith has pulled out of the rematch with Chris Eubank Jr for the second time because of a back injury.
Crews-Dezurn 35, is coming off a 15 month layoff after defeating Elin Cederoos by unanimous decision on April 30, 2022 for the Undisputed Crown Super Middleweight Crown. Marshall 32, lost her WBO Middleweight title in the Undisputed Middleweight showdown against Claressa Shields on October 15, 2022.
Crews-Dezurn vs Marshall is being built as a Fight of the Year candidate.
This will be an interesting fight style wise.
Helluva comeback fight for Crews.
