Gabriela Alaniz has protested her majority decision loss to Marlen Esparza on July 8th in San Antonio live on DAZN. Esparza-Alaniz was a flyweight unification for Esparza's WBC ,WBA titles and Alaniz's WBO title. Official scores were 95-95, 97,93 and 99-91 for Esparza. LDUBB Boxing scored the fight 96-94 Alaniz.
O.R. Promotions represents Alaniz in her protest to the WBO. The team is asking for an official review of the fight and scorecard in hope to get an immediate rematch ordered.

Though I highly doubt this protest is even reviewed, I wish a rematch happens immediately or after the undisputed bout. Because this was too good of a fight and Gabriela fought way too hard to not receive a fair shake.
