Former Undisputed Welterweight Champion Jessica McCaskill (12-3 5KOs) has inked a new deal with Matchroom Boxing. She will attempt to recapture one her titles when she faces WBO Welterweight Champion Sandy Ryan (6-1 2KOs) later this year.
McCaskill 38, is coming off a unanimous decision lost to Chantelle Cameron for the Undisputed Super Lightweight crown November 2022. Since the defeat, McCaskill had to vacate her WBO and IBF titles. The IBF vacate title will be up for grabs on July 1st when Natasha Jonas faces Kandi Wyatt.
Ryan 29, won the vacant WBO title in April with a unanimous decision victory over Marie Pier Houle. Ryan avenged her only loss to former Champion Erica Farias in 2022. McCaskill defeated Farias twice at Super Lightweight in title fights.
