Marlen Esparza Seeks Her Third World Title Against WBO Champion Gabriela Alaniz on July 8th

Unified WBC and WBA Flyweight World Champion Marlen Esparza (13-1 1KO) will fight WBO Flyweight Champion Gabriela Alaniz (14-0 6KO's) Saturday July 8th on the undercard of Eimantas Stanionis vs Vergil Ortiz Jr. Golden Boy Promotions will present this event live on DAZN.

Esparza 33, is on a nice 6 fight winning streak since suffering her only defeat to Seniesa Estrada in 2019. The Houston naive Esparza, defeated veteran champions Ibeth Zamora and Naoko Fujioka to claim her titles. Now unified champion, Esparza looks to stamp her claim as one top P4P fighters today.

Alaniz 27, will make her US debut on Saturday after having all 14 of her fights in her home country Argentina. Known as 'La Chucky' Alaniz aggressive style has created 6 stoppage victories.
