Known as 'Boy Wonder 150' Michael Williams Jr (20-1 13KOs) returns to the ring on August 12th in his hometown of Fayetteville, NC. An opponent will be announced soon.
Williams Jr was scheduled to fight Adrien Broner on February 25th on BLK Prime but he suffered a broken jaw a week before the fight. The fight was canceled and Broner signed with Don King shortly after.
This will be Williams Jr second fight after suffering 4th TKO loss to John Bauza on a Top Rank show December 2021. Williams Jr scored a 3rd round TKO victory over journeyman Julio Buitrago in April 2022 in his return bout.
