LDUBB Boxing has learned that Orlando 'Capu' Gonzalez (20-2 12KOs) and Ramiro Cesena (16-1-1 13KOs) are in talks to faceoff on July 26th on Probox TV. This Super Featherweight contest will be for a WBO Regional title.
Gonzalez 27, is on a two fight winning streak at Super Featherweight after going 1-2 in his previous 3 fights at Featherweight. Capu's first loss was to the current WBO Featherweight Champion Robiesy Ramirez October 2021. His second loss came against Miseal Lopez in September 2022.
Cesena 23, is coming off a controversial 10th round stoppage loss to Thomas Mattice this past April in San Antonio. Known as 'Demon' Cesena was up on all three judges at the time of the stoppage. Gonzalez-Cesena on paper is a can't miss action packed fight.
