Writer: Lawrence WilliamsLawrence Williams

The long awaited Heavyweight Undisputed fight between WBC champion Tyson Fury (34-0-1 24KOs) and Unified WBO, IBF & WBA Champion Oleksandr Usyk (21-0 14) has been postponed. Fury suffered a severe cut in sparring which required multiple stitches. Fury-Usyk was set for February 17th in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Team Usyk is looking to salvage the date to prevent any ring rust. Fury will not be available until summer 2024. IBF mandatory Fliip Hrgovic (17-0 14KOs) has emerged as the frontrunner to replace Fury on February 17th.
