WBO Sets a Five Day Deadline for Liam Paro vs Jose Ramirez Negotiations

Liam Paro (23-0 14KO's) and Former Unified Champion Jose Ramirez (28-1 18KO's) was given a 5 day deadline by the WBO to enter negotiations. Paro vs Ramirez was order as final eliminator for the WBO junior welterweight title held by Josh Taylor. Taylor will face the WBO mandatory challenger Teofimo Lopez on June 10th at the Hulu Theater at MSG.

Paro was originally ordered to face Arnold Barboza. Matchroom, Paro's Promoter won the purse bid to host the fight. Team Barboza turned it down due to financial reasons. Ironically, Barboza and Ramirez has the same manager Rick Mirigian. I ask Mirigian on Twitter for an update. (Click the Link Below)

If a deal is not reached in the allotted time, the WBO will order a purse bid at the of minimum 150k.
